Pinnacle MarineWe are proud and excited to announce the sale of an Azimut S7 to a local Kiwi buyer. Measuring 21 meters in length, sporting a 5.3 meter beam, and powered by three Volvo Penta engines, this amazing, hi-tech yacht represents a major rethink of sports motoryachts. In a nutshell, she's a beauty!
The Azimut S Collection is all about the letter S: speed, style, sportiness and sophistication. It's a collection that makes extensive use of carbon fiber and Volvo IPS propulsion systems. Watch the video and see why the Azimut S7 turns heads everywhere she goes.
The S7 debuted at the 2017 Cannes Yachting Festival and drew considerable praise for her stunning design. But what makes the S7 special is not the sleek lines that characterize the work of Azimut's exterior designer, Stefano Righini, but her carbon fiber construction.
This strong, lightweight material is used generously above the waterline, from the garage door and superstructure up to the radar arch. Carbon fiber is such an integral part of the S7's DNA that it's even used in design elements like furnishings and artwork. Inlaid in counters and tabletops, and clearly visible in the superstructure, it's everywhere.
The new Azimut S7 embraces the superior technology of carbon fiber to revolutionize the sports motoryacht.

And it's not just for decoration. This liberal use of carbon fiber considerably reduces the yacht's weight and lowers the center of gravity, resulting in improved performance and a top speed of 36 knots. In addition, the yacht's increased strength leads to unprecedented living spaces.
The interiors are the work of veteran Italian designer, Francesco Guida. Despite this being his first project with Azimut, he has used his creative freedom to revolutionize the kind of interiors normally found on this type of yacht. At the heart of the Azimut S7's living spaces is a 19-square-meter owner's suite, which is divided by partitions and mirrors into four separate areas, each with its own function. The layout seems unconventional at first, but is actually inspired by modern hotel rooms. Three spacious guest cabins – each capable of sleeping two adults – complete the on-board accommodation.
The galley is positioned towards the bow on the main deck, thereby ensuring usability without sacrificing the living area, which blends seamlessly into the cockpit thanks to a four-part sliding glass door. The indoor lounge area is served by a pair of coffee tables that can be converted into a dining table seating eight. The overall effect is striking: elegance and simplicity combine to create livings spaces that can be enjoyed as much as they can be admired.
The aft end of the S7 is thoughtfully designed. The swim platform opens up to become a true beach patio with ample space for guests. The garage is huge and capable of housing a 3.5-meter tender and PWC. Both the tender and personal watercraft have their own sliders, which makes launching and retrieving them a breeze.
Powered by three Volvo Penta engines, the Azimut S7 can reach a top speed of 36 knots. The hull, tuned to the IPS Propulsion System, offers optimum maneuverability with minimum engine noise and fuel consumption. Fuel consumption is automatically controlled, balancing the content of both fuel tanks using Azimut's innovative "auto balance system", so that the yacht is always perfectly trimmed in terms of load distribution. State-of-the-art technology also includes joystick control, and control of all yacht systems with a single control panel, which can be operated from the cockpit or even from a tablet or PC. All of this adds up to stand-out responsiveness which reviewers have described as both thrilling and amazing.
