Pinnacle Marine Sells an Azimut Atlantis 51

We're pleased to announce the sale of an Azimut Atlantis 51 to a client here in New Zealand. The sale was wrapped up by one of our brokers, David Hawke, who walked the client through the process from beginning to end and in our opinion did a great job. We wish our client many hours of happy boating.

Azimut Atlantis 51: Sporty and Stylish

Azimut's Atlantis collection includes a range of stylish sports cruisers that ooze Italian refinement and elegance, and appeal to owners seeking freedom and the spirit of adventure. The top-of-the-range Azimut Atlantis 51 is a gorgeous 51-footer which, thanks to its beam of almost 15 feet, boasts large, comfortable living spaces, both above and below. And thanks too to its incredible acceleration and head-turning profile, the Atlantis 51 is a true showstopper.

The cockpit is an impressive indoor-outdoor social area that can seat up to six guests with comfort. Windows are large and airy, and offer great sea views at all times. A sliding sunroof can be opened to allow in even more light. Next to the foldable table is a wet bar, a cooler, an ice-maker and a sink. Entertainment is rounded off with a popup TV.

With the addition of a couple of sun pads, the bow lounge can be transformed into another luxurious relaxation area. If necessary, a small bimini can be erected to shield guests from the harshness of the sun.

The aft platform makes the most of the yacht's width and functions nicely as a roomy terrace by the sea. Stashed away in the garage door (in a small dedicated compartment) is an electric barbecue, and atop the garage there's enough space for a four-person sun bed. The garage itself is reasonably generous and can accommodate a tender up to 10' 8" (3.25 meters).

Powered by twin Volvo IPS 800s, the Atlantis 51 can cruise comfortably at 32 knots and reach top speeds of around 35 knots. At all times, the transmission is smooth, quiet and efficient. Joystick control is amazingly precise, taking the stress out of docking and making the boat incredibly nimble at high speeds.

Azimut Atlantis 51: Saloon and Living Quarters

Entrance to the lower deck saloon is via a ladder situated between the helm station and a small lounger in the bow. Overall, it's an elegant and surprisingly spacious living area. The centerpiece is an assembly of soft sofas and a large, foldable table. The table's height is adjustable – if required, it can be lowered to the height of the sofas and covered with a mattress to create an extra bed.

The galley is small but well equipped, and perfect for amateur chefs wishing to conjure up either a quick snack or something more lavish for a gathering of family or friends. There's an oven, stove, microwave, sink, a large fridge freezer, and even a dishwasher. Storage space includes plenty of cabinets and shelves for food, dishes, glasses and kitchen utensils.

The master suite occupies the bow and features a double bed, long hullside windows and a skylight that bathe the room with light, abundant storage, a writing desk and, for maximum comfort, an en-suite bathroom equipped with a separate shower cubicle. The suite also features an emergency exit to the foredeck.

Amidships there are two more bedrooms: a VIP suite and a guest cabin. The guest cabin has bunk beds, while the VIP has two single beds that can be joined into a comfortable queen size. Both rooms share a large bathroom with a washbasin, shower and toilet. And as with the master suite, there's plenty of storage space and headroom.
