The Azimut Trideck

Welcome to the Azimut Trideck. Not only is this Azimut's new flagship superyacht, it's the company's first triple-decker and the largest yacht Azimut has ever built. Taking three years from concept to completion, the Azimut Trideck premiered in May 2021. At the time of writing, five units have already been sold.

One of the yacht's more interesting features is the sea view terrace at the stern. It's a mezzanine deck that extends the traditional cockpit aft and creates new, wider spaces for this class of yacht. It also paves the way for a "cascading terrace effect" that starts at the sundeck and continues down to the beach club.

Four steps down from the sea view terrace is a cozy, private patio next to the saloon. It's a pleasant spot for guests to enjoy a morning coffee or al-fresco breakfast. Thanks to full-height windows, the saloon is bathed in natural light and, with the main dining area shifted to the upper deck, the large interior spaces are ideal for lounging, casual entertaining or large gatherings.

Forward on the main deck is the full-beam owner's suite. Tay wood has been chosen as the main material, with polished mahogany providing contrast. The floor and bathroom countertops are made from textured Cardoso stone. Perhaps predicting what will become a growing trend for this class of yacht, interior designer Achille Salvagni has evolved the bathroom into a spa-like area, the focal point of which is a large freestanding tub. A VIP suite on the upper deck and 4 guest cabins on the lower deck make up the rest of the guest accommodation.

As well as accommodating the VIP cabin, the upper deck is for dining and relaxing. Aft is an open-air terrace featuring a wet bar, a pair of sofas and a teak dining table that can be electronically extended to seat up to 12 guests. Moving indoors, the Trideck's main dining area includes a huge C-shaped sofa and table that can also seat up to 12. And when not used for dining, the table can be lowered to function as a coffee table. A popup 55 inch TV makes this the perfect spot for evening entertainment.

Further forward, the sprawling bow lounge is another plush and beautiful social area. Sunpads surround a circular whirlpool; a pair of opposing sofas make for a great place to sit and chat; and a collection of sunbeds towards the bow offers unimpeded views of the ocean.

Azimut Trideck Dining

The sundeck – the largest outdoor space on the Azimut Trideck – is where everyone can do their own thing and be together. At the stern is a roomy sunbathing area with 3 sunbeds and magnificent views overlooking the sea. Towards the center is a coffee table surrounded by comfortable sofas. Whether you're watching the popup TV, enjoying brunch or sipping an aperitif with friends and family, this is a wonderful place to relax and soak up the sights. Towards the bow there's an island bar and grill combo where guests can enjoy drinks and casual dining.

Azimut Trideck Sun Deck

The beach club is another highlight of the Trideck. When the transom door is deployed, guests have up to 30 square meters of space to enjoy. And thanks to the raised sea view terrace above, there's a full two meters of headroom to walk around in. Cutouts in the rear bulwarks invite extra light onto the deck and enhance the sense of openness. The deck includes its own day head, along with plenty of table space and storage space.

Exterior Design

Designed by Pierluigi Ausonio and Azimut-Benetti's R&D Department, the Trideck's displacement to planing hull is one of the yacht's most important features. This all-new hull builds on the first generation D2P hull developed for the Azimut Grande 35 Metri. But while the Azimut Trideck is 3 meters longer and 35 tons heavier than the Grande 35, she consumes fuel at the same rate at all speeds above 19 knots, and is 15% more efficient when cruising at 15 knots.

The Trideck is Azimut's newest member of the Carbon Generation. Her entire superstructure is laminated with carbon fiber for a total weight reduction of 6 tons. The combination of this carbon superstructure with the displacement to planing hull leads to significant improvements in fuel consumption, higher speeds and a longer range.
